A CLEVER TEACHER

It was a Sunday afternoon and after eating my dinner I remembered that I had tons of
homework to do. I ran up the stairs and into my bedroom, opened up my homework book and went straight to it. I completed my math and science homework, made my bed, and folded my laundry. At the bottom of the list was an assignment from my history teacher. I wondered what that could be because Mr. Edwin never gave us homework. The work he assigned for us to do was to find NFL football tickets. In addition to that he made it an extra credit for whoever could find the best-priced tickets. Now why in the world would he make us do that? Where would I start? I hadn’t the faintest idea about sports or where to find these event tickets. Eventually I came to the conclusion that my first resource should be the Internet. So I ran back downstairs and logged onto my parents’ computer. I went to Google and typed in “Best priced sports tickets” on the search button. I saw the headline “NFL Football Tickets” and I found exactly what I was looking for. I pressed the “print” button and put the paper in my folder to hand to my teacher the next day. Monday morning all twenty-five girls in my class handed in some of their best finds. By the end of our forty minute period Mr. Edwin announced that he would look at what everyone found and he would pick out the best price for the NFL game playing for the following Tuesday. The best part was that he would sponsor tickets for all of us and we’d be allowed to miss school to watch the game. Oh yeah baby!
