I went to my doctor's office for my follow-up visit. It's been several months since the diabetes diagnosis so she wanted to see how I'm adapting to the new routine. I'm starting to have a more active lifestyle now and she suggested I should probably consider the One Touch products to simplify things. She was really pleased to hear that I've been keeping so busy! I'm still not going as often as I'd like because of my school and work schedule, but I was telling her that I've been able to attend yoga classes at least three times a week now. I don't drive my car as often either. The yoga studio isn't that far away so I started walking. Since the last time I saw her, I've been able to lose about thirty pounds. She commented several times on how good I looked! I know the yoga and walking has definitely helped, but I think what's putting the extra glow on my face and bounce in my step is the guy who's been coming to my yoga class lately! He always sits next to me in class. It's giving me that extra incentive to look good.! Maybe if I work up enough confidence by the end of class I will ask him to join me for lunch sometime. My doctor said whatever I'm doing I should keep it up!
