I ran the ad in the local paper first, and go no results. I tried online next, and got no results. That's not exactly true. I got results; too many of them to work through. And I wasn't equipped to take the time to go through each and every application. It was back to the temp staffing. Jimmy had found another company, and he and I both got on a conference call with them. I didn't like them. Their costs were too high, and they sounded like they would really have to go searching high and low for all these people. There was one other choice. This agency was run from home. This I really didn't like. Jimmy wasn't sold on this type of arrangement either. We called. The woman was very nice and professional. We told her to work up a quote and get back to us. We specifically wanted to know if she could really supply us with the number of workers that we needed. She said she could, and sounded confident. By the end of the day we had the quote. We agreed to take a look at it tomorrow first thing. I emailed the agency and thanked them for their quick action.
